Mandela 2019-20

Hello, and welcome to the Mandela Class webpage!

You have come to the right place for all things related to the Mandela Class.

We are a fantastic bunch of Y5 & Y6 pupils taught by Mr. B. Roebuck.

Throughout the year, we will be supported by Mrs. T. Hipwell-Stafford Mrs. J. Harwood.

We will also be working closely alongside Mr. R. Smith & Miss. H. Rutter.

Our class is named after the revolutionary, South African politician Nelson Mandela, who showed great persistence and determination throughout his life as he fought for justice and equality in South Africa during extremely hard times. He continued to persevere and eventually found success as the first black president of South Africa.

Our webpage will be regularly updated with news, events, photographs and home learning so please add our webpage to your favourites.

You can also follow us on Twitter '@CarltonMandela' for an insight into what our days look like in the Mandela Class.

Right! Let's explore...

If there are school closures due to COVID-19, please ensure that you complete the tasks set each day on SeeSaw. There will be a reading, maths and SPaG (spelling, punctuation and grammar) task set each day, which are expected to be completed fully and to a high standard.

Please continue to explore PurpleMash and Times Table Rockstars to minimise disruption that any closures may cause.

For curriculum projects/tasks, please see the 'Curriculum' page below.
