Our enquiry this half term is based around the Guding Question ‘Can one person make a big difference?’ 
Our spaced questions are:

Who were Mahatma Ghandi and Rosa Parks?
What were the key events in Ghandi and Rosa Parks; fight for fairness?

How are Mohatma Ghandi and Rosa Parks the same?

How did Rosa Parks and Mohatma Ghandi make a difference? 

We will be looking at some activist art by Keith Haring and producing some artwork in his style.

In English we will writing reports about our key people and also a character description linked to one of our texts- Velvateen Rabbit. Our core text for this half term is The Heart and the Bottle by Oliver Jeffers.

In Maths we are learning to add and subtract.

Our learning is based around the question: What makes leaders great?

We will be anserwing the following key questions:

Who were Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Victoria?

What were the key events of  Queen Elizabeth’s and Queen Victoria’s reigns?

How were Queen Elizabeth I and Queen Victoria the same?

How were Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth 1 both great leaders?

Alongisde this, we will be studying the art work of Picasso and producing a painting of one of the queens in the style of Picasso.
