WE LOVE READING!
Our school Library is now complete and has been updated with a vast array of amazing new books. We have purchased books to suit every taste and every age.
Alongside your reading why not try one of the new library tasks?
Current activities are linked to the Harry Potter series and stories by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler who have written and illustrated books such as The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and Superworm! You can design a new shield emblem for your own Harry Potter house, (why not try Carlton house rather than Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin or Hufflepuff!) write a book review, argue which is best, the books or films or even create a challenge of your own. Alternatively why not design a new book cover for a Julia Donaldson story or write a review for your favourite book. Sheets for some of the tasks can be found below the display boards.
Located on the blue display shelves are 2 mysterious objects. Each was found long forgotten and hidden in the dark depths of a teacher's store cupboard. Can you complete the tasks linked to each and tell the true stories of these strange artifacts?
To win children must match teachers in school to their favourite childhood book. A winner will be chosen at the end of the half term from all of the correct entries. Entry forms are available in the library below the display board.
