Spellings

Our weekly spelling test is on a Wednesday.

The children will get new spellings every week in their planners that they must practice at home ready for the spelling test the following week.

From Spring 2 week 6 onwards children will practise common exception words and revise previous spellings. These are broken into sets to make learning more manageable but it is a year 2 expectation that children can spell all of these.
