Speeding Fine!

Speeding Fine! 1
Oliver  swims for Borough of Barnsley Swimming Club (BOBSC) the photo is of him with his speeding fines at the Doncaster Dartes Mad March Sprints at Adwick Leisure Centre. He swam 50m butterfly, 50m back strike, 50m freestyle & 100m individual medley. He won one gold medal & 3 speeding tickets which means he swam faster than his divisional time. Oliver regularly competes and wins medals. A huge well done from your friends in Hazel class!

Making Tudor House With Our Parents

Welcome to Year 4 Hazel class taught by Mrs Blythe and supported by Mrs Stroyan.

Our main topic this half term is the Tudors. We have planned 2 opportunities for parents to join us in school. For details please click on the letter below. Please ensure that your child reads their home reading book a minimum of 3 times a week and is signed by yourself once completed. The book and reading record need returning to school daily.

In music this half term we will be also learning to play the recorder.

In science we are learning about living things and their habitats.

Our PE days are Tuesday and Friday.

In year 4 we also learn to play the clarinet. Your child will be provided with a clarinet which they must look after. They will learn how to read and play musical notes and use this to play simple songs.

Spellings will go out every Monday and the children will be tested on them every Friday.
