English:
In writing this half term we are going to be exploring a range of text types including narrative, non-chronological reports and descriptions. We are going to write our own story version of 'The Three Little Pigs'; we are going to write a setting description of ancient Egypt; we are going to write fact files about Howard Carter and Tutankhamun as well as a newspaper report about Howard Carter's discovery.
Maths:
Y1: During Autumn 1, the Year 1 children will be learning all about place value within numbers to 10. The children will be counting, representing, finding one more/less comparing and ordering numbers.
Y2: During Autumn 1, the Year 2 children will be learning all about place value within numbers to 100. The children will be counting, representing, comparing and ordering numbers.
