Please check our twitter account @PACTcarlton for hourly updates of pictures of your children loving the activities.

As the trip to Kingswood is fast approaching here are just a few things to note:

Children will need to arrive at school by 9am on Wednesday 22nd May. We will meet in the Key Stage 1 hall for registration, and a morning of team building activities. Please enter through the main reception from 8:40.

We will be departing at 12:30pm so will be having an early lunch in school. Children will be able to order a hot dinner or will need to bring a packed lunch.

Children need to bring with them a labelled water bottle.

Please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for their day of activities. They do not need to wear school uniform. Please make sure they have a coat with them on the coach and not in their suitcases. Please dress for the weather. It will may be cold, please ensure that the children have plenty of warm clothing to wear – many activities are outside and layers will be key to keeping them warm.

We are expected to depart from Kingswood at approx. 1pm on Friday 24th May and anticipate arriving at school for 1:45pm. Your child can be collected from the coach by an adult at 1:45pm but children can stay until the end of the school day. If there are any delays, school will notify you.

Please don’t send your child with any sweets or mobile phones.

Kingswood centre does have a gift shop where children can by postcards, limited refreshments, pencils and souvenirs so it is recommended young people to bring £5-10 during their stay. Your child may bring up to £10 to spend at the gift shop. This must be given to Miss Beet on the morning of the trip in a labelled envelope.

Any medication your child requires should be clearly labelled (when it is required, dosage and any other necessary information) and given to Miss Webster. If your child suffers from travel sickness please give them a tablet on Wednesday before coming to school then give Miss Webster the return journey tablet to be administered on Friday morning (again in labelled envelope, please include medication instructions).
