  The all new Onboard website is designed specifically with teachers and parents in mind to help you to communicate the benefits of public transport and safe travel to pupils.

  Teachers have a dedicated section with curriculum linked materials for lessons as well as ideas for new sources of information and useful links.

Parents and carers have their own section too with help and advice on getting your child to school safely, active travel options such as walking and cycling, ticketing guidance and where to go for further information.

You can also take advantage of the pupil’s section with content specifically designed to appeal to each of the three year groups: Years 6-7, Years 8-10 and Years 11.  Each section includes quizzes and videos as well as other useful tools, features and downloads.  Check out the new website at travelsouthyorkshire.com/onboard

Thank you for showing interest in purchasing advertising space on our school calendar. The calendar will be published for sale in December 2011 at a cost of £3.00 each.

The cost of advertising is £30.00 and for this your advertisement will be printed onto the month of your choice on the calendar and as a bonus will also be on our website on receipt of payment. Links can also be made to your own website if you have one.

The advert needs to be business card size. If you have a business card already with the details you would like in the advert this can be scanned straight onto the website. If you do not have a business card, you can design your own advert and send it electronically to l.arnold@barnsley.org or send us the information and we can create a basic advert for you. As soon as we receive your advert and payment your business will be advertised on our website and appear on the month of your choice on the calendar.

The calendar will contain photographs of all the children in our school enjoying their learning, with each new class from September having a separate month. If you would like to advertise on our 2012 calendar please fill out the slip below with your information.
