Red Nose Day

On Friday 18th March we wore something funny for money to raise money for comic relief. The children and staff were very imaginative with their costumes and all looked fantastic! We managed to raise a fantastic £262.00

Harvest Concert

On Tuesday 19th October we held our Harvest concerts. The children performed a variety of songs and rhymes including dingle dangle scarecrow, 5 little leaves and 5 round pumpkins. The children acted out the story of The Scarecrows Hat. We would like to say a huge thank you to parents that practiced songs and lines at home with their children, they sang beautifully and were superb as the characters in the story.

Thank you also for all the harvest donations, they have been distributed to families in the community.

On Thursday the 9th of July, the children in Key Stage One helped to organise and operate a Lowry Café for family and friends. The hall became a tribute to the famous artist Laurence Lowry, displaying many of his famous works of art as well paintings created by the children in his style.

The children worked incredibly hard to ensure that the café was both pleasant to visit and that it operated efficiently. They showed great professionalism in their chosen roles, displaying courtesy and respect for all the customers.

Furthermore, the effort and contribution shown by staff was also much appreciated and ensured the café was a success.
