Dear Parents/Carers

It is soon the summer holidays and thought I would let you know what is happening before and also in the summer holidays.

If your child or children come to after-school club, can you make sure that they come with a hat or glasses and sun cream either on or in a bottle with they name on it so they can put it on themselves. I can store it in club and give it to you before the holidays start. With the afternoons getting hot, children need to go out and we are limited of how long we can spend outside if they have no sun protection on.

When coming up the school drive can you please stick to the 5 mph speed limit, and also not park on the corner it obstructs cars coming into school and also leaving the school grounds. I would want anyone’s car getting bumped on a morning or on an afternoon.

Please can you make sure that all term fees are paid for by Thursday 21^st of July. I don’t want anyone’s fees to carry over to a new school year. If you have problems paying, please speak to a member of staff. This is because Friday 22^nd of July is an INSET DAY if you need your child/ren booked in on this day please let a member of staff know so that they can mark them in on the register.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Please note that this summer holiday is a 6 week summer. I will be open the full six weeks for those who need your child/ren in.

Fish and chip lunch with a walk to Carlton Park       Thursday  1^st Sept 2011

Times and prices will be sent in the normal way through a permission letter, But no trip should be more then £10.00. 

If you would like your child to attend any trip please let a member of staff know and we will book you in for that holiday day.

If you need holiday days please see a member of staff who will have a list of all the dates over the summer holidays and can book you in for the particular one you need.

Hayley Findlow  –  Completed NVQ Level 3 playwork and transition award in
                  child care and education at a level 3. Partner of Darton 
                  Extra Club 2000 – 2002. Worked in Spain and Portugal in
                  Clubs. Worked with children since 1995. Obtained
                  First aid certificate 10, Food hygiene Certificate 09 and 
                  other relevant certificates in Childcare, including   
                  safeguarding children certificate. Has completed lots of
                  other courses relating to play and the EYFS. Is completing
                  Quality in Provision in Club and is CRB checked.
Playcarer       
Carly Anderson  -  Completed NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Early Years and childcare.
                 Has worked within a private day nursery for the last 2 years
                 Has completed First Aid
                 Certificate in May 10. Has completed Food hygiene in 10.
                 Has completed safeguarding children in 10. Has completed
                 Lots of courses relating to Early years and the EYFS. Is                     CRB Checked. 
Playcarer        
Pauline Findlow  - Has completed NVQ Level 2 in Playwork. Has
                 attended a First Aid course 10. Has attended food hygiene
                 course in 2009. Has completed a safeguarding children 
                 certificate in 09. Has completed lots of different courses
                 relating to play and the EYFS. Has raised my sister and me
                 and is CRB checked.
Playcarer
Janice Morgan  -  Has completed CACHE Level 3 in Early years and
                 Education. Has attended a food hygiene course in 10. Has
                 Has completed CACHE Level 2 in teaching assistant.
                 Has taken part in Kerbcraft (Road safety). Has worked
                 In school as a school meal supervisor since 2000. Has raised
                 Her own children and is CRB checked.   
Playcarer  
Danielle Gardiner - Has completed NVQ Level 2 in Early Years and has started
                 Level 3. Has been working in Private day nursery for over 6
                 Months. Has completed Fist aid certificate in Aug 10. Has
                 Completed a safeguarding certificate. Has completed Food
                 Hygiene certificate. Is CRB checked.
